It is hard to catch the wind under your wings if you are in a cage.  Church was never meant to be a cage.

THE FRUIT INDEX, or measuring the success by how fruitful you are being, how much you are being obedient to God's voice, is really the true mark of faithfulness.  It is not in numbers, activities or membership.  ARE you really an active participant in the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit or are you just interested in feel good services and meetings.  A party for you selves.  WHAT fruit is in your life?  WHO are you in the body of Christ?  What is you ministry?  HOW has God designed you?

Never get comfortable having a constant party for yourself that you forget where the ministry truly is. 

  We need Safe Houses to commune for growth.  A place to have shelter from the storm.  Churches, convention centers and retreats serve as this.  But they were never meant to be CAGES.  

CHURCH is a place where Christian believers can meet and fellowship.  At Great Awakenings Ministry we will strive to have an open place for believers from all denominations to join together for discipleship, entertainment and fellowship.

When I think about it, it really is all about presence.  Am I walking in the presence of God?  Do I really pray constantly because I am before Abba, my Father.  Really, when you get right down to it ... isn't that what true religion is all about.  I am looking forward to a great time in the presence of God, moment by moment, day by day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Where ever the body of Christ meets, there is church.  In contrast, and sad to say, Not always where the Church building is is there the body of Christ.  Get it. ...  It is not the stones, or timbers, but the flesh, blood, and spirit of believers that makes up the Church.
